GPS Mapping
Accurate mapping of a site is a critical. We use GPS Mapping to plot a site's topography, locate and mark current pipelines, wells, roadways and other existing landmarks.

Mears Design Group provides detailed construction drawings for golf course irrigation systems including installation details and construction specifications. All designs are developed using AutoCad software to cost effectively and accurately produce construction drawings, quantities, and cost estimates. We also provide a hydraulic analysis of the entire system by utilizing HydrauliCad software. HydrauliCad is a "True AutoCAD hydraulic analysis software program using Epanet calcs for design and simulation watermodeling of water pipe networks."
FEATURED GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION DESIGNS
The Nines at Riverridge Golf Course - Eugene, Oregon
The scope of work for this project was to provide a base plan utilizing a Global Positioning System (GPS), mapping the course in the early stages of construction for layout schematics. After receiving final approval on a master layout plan, including general grading, Troy then provided general hole layout and irrigation design. The NiNes has two different 9-hole courses, an executive course and a par three course. After construction was completed, Troy mapped the entire site utilizing GPS for an accurate record drawing.
Manor @ Hidden Creek Polo and Golf Club - West Linn, OR
As project Landscape Architect, Troy assisted in the development of the site master plan, which included (4) polo fields, (18) hole par-3 golf course, stables, clubhouse, irrigation system and pond layout. The project is currently in the second phase of development.
